AFTER CARE
Wefts tapes i tips
-
1. Using Hair extension shampoo and conditioner is highly recommended to ensure that the bonds or tapes do not get affected and to keep your hair extensions nourished.
-
2. Hair extensions must be brushed regularly and where possible holding the hair extensions as we pull down will ensure the wefts doesnt slip and loosen in the track
-
3. Do not go to bed with wet or damp hair - this causes matting and dreads. Not so fun!
-
4. Always dry your hair after washing
-
5. At night hair should be either in a loose plat or tight your hair in a loose low ponytail to the side
-
7. Do not put oils or treatments directly on the roots of your hair where hair extensions are attached, oils and treatments should only be used on the mid lengths and the ends.
-
8. Do not brush your hair extensions when they are wet, always blast dry the roots first, hold your extensions and start brushing gently from the ends and work your way up.
-
9. Avoid putting heat styling tools such as straightening irons or wand directly on the bonds or where hair extensions are attached (Blow drying is fine)
-
10. Regular maintenance in the studio is required to ensure your hair extensions always stay intact. ( 6 to 8 weeks )
-
11. When using sunscreens that contains Avobenzone or also known as Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane, We advise to always tie your hair up when sunbaking or swimming so it does not touch your suncreen on your body as we have found that this ingredient stains hair extensions to a peachy, pinky colour and hard to remove from hair.
-
11. Always wash and dry your hair after swimming.
-
12. Using a leave in conditioner or serum will keep your hair extensions nourished.
-
13. Always use low setting on heat styling tools and make sure to use heat protecting spray

Post Install
-
Each track is secured with V Light Cured Adhesive to ensure track does not come loose.
-
If there is an issue with the track we will ask for images of the track and information as to why/how this occurred.
-
Peachy is not responsible for rough handling of weft tracks causing breakage of the thread. All clients are advised to hold the weft in place while brushing as an important factor of after care.
-
Knotting and dreadlocks indicate that this aftercare procedure has not been followed.
-
Client choice of shampoo and conditioner may affect the quality of the hair extensions in the long term. Client will be advised of recommended products in studio and advise that shampoos and conditioners that contain Alcohol, Parabens and/or Sulphates will damage the hair extensions.
-
Hair Extensions are to be brushed twice daily with a detangling brush.
-
Change of mind with placement of hair extensions incur a full refit/install cost.
- Replacements and fix up policies do not apply if hair has been dealt with another hair extensions technician / hairdresser for the purpose of dying, cutting or extensions services.
- Clients that are aggressive, rude or refusing to follow Peachy's policies regarding aftercare and issue resolution processes will be refused a return to services

V Light Information pre and post installation.
What are V-Light Extensions? Here’s everything you should know:
V-Light is an extensions application method (not a specific kind of hair) that pairs perfectly with Peachy Hair Extensions. The new method uses UV light to adhere individual strands of hair to create a natural look without the need for bonds, tabs or wefts.
Here’s everything your clients should know about V-Light extensions:
The latest innovation in extension installation methods. Read on for everything you need to know about V-Lights, how they differ from other extensions installation methods and most importantly transform your hair density in the most discreet and non-damaging way possible.
-
Since V-Lights are undetectable, they are perfect for filling in low-density areas of hair like the hairline and top of the head
-
The application process includes a UVA-emitting LED light at 395nm, which is approved by the FDA for medical use and poses no risk to skin or eyes
-
The LED curing device generates minimal heat, ensuring a comfortable experience for clients
-
V-Light can be used with any type of hair or hair extension
Here’s what your clients should know about V-Light maintenance:
-
With proper application and maintenance, V-Light Extensions can last 3 to eight weeks
-
Avoid heat at the attachment points
-
Use sulfate-free shampoo
-
Avoid saturating the attachment points with oils, conditioners and alcohols
-
Carefully comb your hair when V Lights are installed. Brushes with fine or thicker teeth may come in between and loosen the bond.
